What Is The Paleo Diet?
Ask any zookeeper what they feed the animals they look after to make sure they stay fit & healthy, and they will tell you that they try to make it as natural as possible – as close as they can to what the animals would eat in wild.
But what about humans? What is our natural diet? What foods did we evolve to eat? What diet should we be following for optimal health?
It’s actually quite simple to find this out – we just study human history to discover what humans ate in the wild (when they lived outdoors as hunters & gatherers) – we study what our primal ancestors ate thousands of years ago: meat, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices, healthy fats and oils.
