Pork Chops

Pork chops deliver iron, potassium and other essential nutrients, while being about as lean as chicken.

 

PREPARATION TIME: 5 mins

COOKING TIME: 18 mins

SERVES: 1

 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 Large Pork Chop
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup fresh Thyme

 

METHOD:

  1. Melt butter in a frying pan on a high heat. Once butter is melted add pork chop and cook each side for 1 minute to brown it.
  2.  Turn down heat to medium and cook for 16 minutes, turning occasionally so each side is evenly cooked.
  3. For last minute of cooking add in the Thyme and cook until wilted
  4. Serve with broccoli and a wedge of lemon.
